New Occupational Health Assessment (L2) Document

October 9, 2020

Dear Valued Client,

Please be advised that as part of DriverCheck’s process of continual improvement, we have updated our Occupational Health Assessment document (formerly known as an L2 medical) to align with a more evidence-based approach in conducting occupational health medicals when determining fitness for duty. This will be effective as of Monday, November 2, 2020.

In doing so, we have removed the urinalysis component, as it is often not relevant in assessing fitness for duty (if a urinalysis is required for specific employment reasons, please advise us and will add this on as an employer-specific requirement). We have also formatted the health history questionnaire so that it is organized and easier to read.

If you have any questions, please contact our Occupational Health Department at (800) 463-4310, option #5 or via email at medicals@DriverCheck.ca

We are confident that these new changes will be of value to all of our occupational health clients and ensuring that your employees/candidates are fit for duty.

Sincerely,

Jonathan W. Davids, MD
