Dr. Snider-Adler Appointed Chief Medical Review Officer

We are pleased to announce that Dr. Melissa Snider-Adler has been appointed to the role of Chief Medical Review Officer at DriverCheck Inc.

She has been with the company for the past nine years, and has been a valuable resource to our team of medical experts as a Medical Review Officer.

Dr. Barry Kurtzer has been the Chief Medical Review Officer for the past twelve years, and has done a tremendous job. He is now taking on the role of Corporate Medical Director and will continue to oversee our team of Physicians, providing direction and support as needed, while remaining available for client inquiries.

Dr. Kurtzer states, “as DriverCheck expands its comprehensive occupational health service offerings well beyond workplace drug and alcohol testing, it is important that we organize our medical expertise to best meet our clients’ complex program needs, both legislated and non-legislated. With my having practiced occupational medicine full time since 1977, it makes most sense for me to globally oversee our programs and services as DriverCheck’s Medical Director, and to hand over the specific role of Chief Medical Review Officer to one of our most professional and qualified Medical Review Officers, Dr. Melissa Snider-Adler.”

We expect this to be a seamless integration, and that you will continue to receive the highest level of support and solutions for all of your workplace medical testing requirements.

“The work I have done and the relationships I have built with clients over the last nine years as one of the in house MROs at DriverCheck has set the groundwork for me to start this new position with ease. My experience in Addiction Medicine makes me uniquely qualified for this role as I have perspective on emerging drugs of abuse and can help shape the testing programs of our clients to ensure that they are testing for what people are using. I’m very excited for the change and am up for the challenge,” explained Dr. Snider-Adler.

Join us in welcoming Dr. Snider-Adler in her new role – and thanking Dr. Kurtzer for his performance in establishing DriverCheck as the country’s fitness for duty experts.
