Introducing ExceleRATE

DriverCheck is proud to announce the launch of a strategic partnership with Impirica Inc. (“Impirica”) that is focused on delivering ExceleRATE, a Functional Skills Evaluation Program for commercial drivers.

Built on over two decades of research and proven commercial application, ExceleRATE is a science based proactive risk assessment program designed to functionally evaluate commercial driver fitness. It goes beyond a traditional driver’s abstract or physical exam and instead provides comprehensive insight into the questions of fitness-for-duty ensuring drivers have the critical skills needed for safe driving.

How it Works

ExceleRATE predicts real-world driving behaviour and does not discriminate by age, sex or race, providing a fair and objective assessment.

The program consists of two components; Vitals and CORE. The Vitals assessment is an in-office cognitive screen that actively measures the cognitive functions critical for safe driving and is one of the only tools shown to be highly predictive of actual on-road performance. The CORE is a commercial on-road evaluation scientifically developed to identify critical errors and trainable bad habits. The two components work together to provide decision makers with insight into a drivers’ fitness that will help ensure they have the ability to operate at their best while mitigating overall fleet risk.
