September 11, 2024 (Ayr, ON) – DriverCheck, Canada’s Fitness for Duty expert and the leading provider of workplace medical testing and assessments, is excited to announce the opening of its new clinic in Ayr, Ontario. This milestone reinforces DriverCheck’s longstanding commitment to the Ayr community, where our journey began nearly three decades ago.

Ayr is where founders Dr. Chris & Dr. Mary-Jean Page first started the company, addressing the drug and alcohol testing needs of Canadian trucking companies, with their first clients being Ayr-based businesses.

"We are delighted to open our new clinic in DriverCheck’s `hometown’ of Ayr, ON. This expansion allows us to make our services more accessible to local businesses, particularly in the trucking industry,” said Maggie Dunnett, President of DriverCheck. "This new clinic reinforces our connection to the community that has supported us from the beginning and supports our mission to build a healthier and safer world."

Located at 218 Boida Ave., Unit 2, Ayr, Ontario N0B 1E0, the Ayr clinic is strategically located right off Highway 401 and is designed to meet the growing demand for drug and alcohol testing in the area. The clinic will be operated by a dedicated DriverCheck team to deliver drug and alcohol, mobile, and after-hours testing. The facility is open Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 4 PM, with extended hours on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 PM to 12 AM to accommodate after-hour appointments. It will be staffed with both male and female collection technicians, ensuring comfort and convenience for all clients.

To this day, DriverCheck’s head office remains in Ayr, and they continue to be dedicated to ensuring the safety and well-being of workplaces in Ayr and across Canada. The opening of the new Ayr clinic demonstrates the company’s ongoing efforts to make its services more accessible and convenient for its valued clients.
